Suddenly orphaned and on her own in the Wyoming wilderness during the late 1800's, twelve year old Kimimela Johnson, with her border collie, Dakota, must rely on God's strength and the skills her parents taught her to carry on with her life. As she faces many challenges, her faith in God is strengthened, allowing His perfect plan to unfold.

This book will take you on a journey as you experience pioneer life through the eyes of Kimimela, a half Sioux-half white twelve year old girl whose parents die of a sudden illness.
